
Contract Between Richard Sanford and The Intellectual Activist

TIA Publications, Inc., of New Jersey agrees to pay $900 for a 3000-word article or $1500 for a 6000-word article on the facts about threats to the ozone layer to its author Richard Sanford in exchange for the rights to publish it in a future issue of The Intellectual Activist. The intent is to publish it in the November, 1995, or January, 1996, issue. The preferred length is 3000 words; but TIA will consider publishing a 6000-word version. The rights purchased include the right to sell copies of the article in back issues of the magazine, whether the issues are reprinted separately or in bound volumes, and the rights to pamphletize the article. If TIA does pamphletize the article, it will pay the author 50% of the profits realized by such publication. The author retains all other rights to the article.
