A SCIENTIFIC REFUTATION OF ENVIRONMENTALISM

According to environmentalism, overwhelming scientific evidence proves that man's tampering with nature will cause a global ecological Armageddon. The lecture exposes the fallacy of this view using the issues of DDT, wetlands, cholera, global warming, ozone, endangered species, and radon. The environmentalists' logical flaws violate the laws of existence, classification and causality by failing to adhere to the facts, by failing to classify facts by essentials, and by misidentifying causal relationships. The systematic errors of environmental "science" are explained by western philosophy's rejection of reason as shown by the thought of Plato and Kant and the modern philosophical schools of pragmatism, logical positivism, ordinary language analysis, existentialism, and philosophy of science. The talk explains how the corruption of western philosophy has led to the irrationality and misanthropy of environmentalism.
