Leonard Peikoff And The Swedish Translator

Per-Olof Samuelsson was a Swedish translator who had been given permission by Leonard Peikoff to translate the works of Ayn Rand into Swedish. After some years of this work, Mr. Samuelsson heard that George Reisman had been kicked out of the Ayn Rand Institute. Since Mr. Samuelsson is a great admirer of George Reisman, Mr. Samuelsson wasn't about to take anyone's word that Reisman had done something Terribly Wrong to deserve such a fate. So Mr. Samuelsson asked for proof. When he did, Leonard Peikoff told him it was none of Samuelsson's business. When Mr. Samuelsson protested that this was not in keeping with the spirit of Objectivism, Peikoff withdrew permission for Mr. Samuelsson to translate any more of Rand's works.

Now if there was ever a country that needed to be able to read Rand's works, it's Sweden. But that's obviously not important to Leonard Peikoff. The important thing is to cut off anyone who dares to question Peikoff's excommunication of George Reisman, or who dares to judge Leonard Peikoff.

Do we need any more proof that Leonard Peikoff (and the Ayn Rand Institute) is totally unfit to spread the word of Objectivism? Do we need any clearer proof that Peikoff and the ARI simply do not live by the philosophy of Objectivism?
